Philanthropy/Service

 
 

 As our national philanthropy, we actively support Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA).  We have established a relationship with CASA of Travis County in order to participate in as many local events possible.  In the Fall, we join them for their Annual Superhero Run, and for the holidays, our alumnae hold a gift card collection to donate in time for them to buy Christmas gifts for the kids.  If you'd like to get involved, contact Missi Currier .

 

Our 2011 Gift Card collection was a huge success; we donated $400, which was two times our goal!  They were so excited to receive our contribution and informed us that we helped bring Christmas to over 900 children.               


 


 
Our Alumnae are proud to participate in the Annual Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in downtown Austin. Not only do we have a team on race day, we also raise money for the cause... in 2011, we were able to donate $515! The race is in October, so watch for emails then if you are interested in participating!
