Interest Groups

Given the wide range of the DC area, each of you belongs to many special interest groups. You may experience or learn about a program that might be of interest to us all. Please share your ideas with us so we can capitalize on all this knowledge. If you would like to be part of the brainstorming team for programs, please send us an e-mail .

Bethesda-Chevy Chase Lunch Bunch
This small group meets once a month at the Bethesda Marriott (Pook's Hill) in the Agio Restaurant at noon. An e-mail notice is sent about ten days before with the date. A telephone call is made to those who don't have e-mail. We come from all over the area; some often, some only occasionally. If you would like to be notified, e-mail Gloria .

Book Club
The book club reads interesting books throughout the year, meeting in the evening. Check the Google calendar for specific dates, times, and the book. Join the book club email list to find out more by contacting  Jenn . We meet at the Writing Center in Bethesda (Metro: Bethesda/Red Line).

City KATS
Whether you're new to DC or a Washington native, join us for happy hours, dinners, and other fun downtown events throughout the year. Recent events have included a picnic at the Cherry Blossom Festival, bowling at Lucky Strike, Wine and Art Night, and various happy hours. DC Lunch Bunch
We meet random days of the month, trying out different restaurants, so you need to be on the e-mail list to find out where we are each month. Send a note to Jane ; we meet at 12:00 so you can come when you can and ask for the Theta reservation.

First Event
Contact Debora for more information about first event dinners. These dinners are designed for the sister who has never been to a DC/MD event or if it has been awhile.
