Summer 2012
Please stay tuned for more information about the mentoring/networking program for the summer of 2012. We will be taking names for both alumnae mentors as well as collegian mentees.
Committee
During the summer, the Alumnae Chapter will once again facilitate a mentor program for college members from around the country who are in the DC area for internships. To ensure that this program is a success, the leadership team has decided to develop a committee to plan events, coordinate communications, and ensure that this program is meaningful for the college and alumnae members. If you are interested in participating in the planning committee, please email Meghan Oster at
. The time commitment will be one meeting in March and one meeting in April. We would meet over meals and most likely on a weekend. If you are interested in being a mentor, please note that additional information will be communicated in the April newsletter.
Thank you
Thank you to everyone who participated in the 2nd annual mentoring program this past summer 2011. We faciliated over 25 pairings of local alumnae with collegians who were in town interning for the summer. In June, we held an ice cream social kick off event at Debora's house. In July, we attended a Nationals baseball game. And in August, we saw Mean Girls at the Rosslyn Outdoor Movie Festival.
