In 2010, budget cuts threatened the closure of the Pioneer Park Aviary in Walla Walla. Our chapter hosted a car wash and bake sale last April to raise funds to help save this community treasure. Schwa and Sirens of Swank, two on-campus a capella groups sang at the event. The chapter raised $1,500 - enough to fund aviary operations for a week.
