Welcome to the Delta Upsilon Chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta

Kappa Alpha Theta was founded in 1870 as the first Greek-letter fraternity for women. Yesterday, today, and tomorrow, Kappa Alpha Theta exists to nurture each member throughout her college and alumnae experience and to offer a lifelong opportunity for social, intellectual, and moral growth as she meets the higher and broader demands of mature life.
Delta Upsilon was established in 1972 at Eastern Kentucky University. Here at EKU, Thetas are scholars, athletes, artists, performers, philanthropists, and - most importantly - sisters. We strive for excellence in scholarship and seek to make the widest impact for good, while always strengthening our bonds of love.
Please enjoy exploring our website! You'll see photos with hearts covering the faces of certain sisters. This means they are Gamma Chi’s, or Recruitment Counselors, and have temporarily disaffiliated from Theta until recruitment is over. This is so that PNMs (Potential New Members) can have unbiased Greek women assist them in the recruitment process.
