Welcome to Our Chapter!

Welcome to Kappa Alpha Theta fraternity at the campus of California State University Fresno!  Kappa Alpha Theta is the first Greek letter fraternity known among women and prides itself on its academic achievement, philanthropic dedication, and close bonds between our sisters.  Kappa Alpha Theta is an international organization with college and alumnae chapters through the U.S. as well as Canada.

Our Fraternity Purpose: The intellectual ambition of the Fraternity shall be the attainment of highest scholarship.  The social aim of the Fraternity shall be to exercise the widest influence for good.  The moral aim of the Fraternity shall be the standard of love.

Yesterday, today, and tomorrow, Kappa Alpha Theta exists to nurture each member throughout her college and alumnae experience and to offer a lifelong opportunity for social, intellectual and moral growth as she meets the higher and broader demands of mature life.

Theta sisterhood is unlike any other.  It is encompassed by women from all over who share the joy of love, compassion, and of course, loyalty. As sisters of Kappa Alpha Theta, we pride ourselves on our academic achievements, strong ties with our philanthropy, all on top of being socially involved throughout the Fresno State campus as well as other involvement in Greek Life.

New events are always happening each semester including formals, social events, sisterhood events, and volunteer opportunities within the community.  Even though we are always on the go with something new, some of the best times are remembered while sitting at our infamous "round table" in the kitchen, just talking about the day's events, or running out to grab a bite to eat.  Even with our on-the-go activites, we all still manage to do these things together and learn from our different personalities.
