Scholarship is a very important component of Kappa Alpha Theta. The Gamma Nu Chapter at North Dakota State University takes pride in its outstanding academic achievements. We consistently look for ways to recognize and reward the scholastic achievements of our members.
Our chapter keeps a database of professor and course recommendations to assist our members in their curriculum selection. We also have 'Study Files', which contain notes and old tests from classes; These can give a member additional material to study for an upcoming exam. Members are eligible for prizes if their name is selected by a drawing from our "Skippy Jar" for having no skipped classes or for having the most study hours for that week at each Chapter meeting. Begining in the spring 2010 semester, the Theta house will be transformed into a study space every Tuesday afternoon that will be open to all members to come over, grab some snacks, and study!
