Kappa Alpha Theta Grand Convention 2010
The awards presented at the 2010 Grand Convention recognized outstanding chapters for their work over the 2008-2010 biennium.
The Zeta Xi Chapter was proud to be a 2010 recipient of a Bronze Kite Award. This award recognizes achievement throughout all aspects of chapter life including recruitment, administration, membership development and member education.
At the 2010 Grand Convention, Zeta Xi was also recognized by District III (North East) for Excellence in Communication.

Kappa Alpha Theta Foundation Scholarships 2010-2011
In its 50th year, 2010, the Foundation awarded 249 scholarships totaling $615,425. Congratulations to Zeta Xi's 2010 recipients Nell Derick-Debevoise '02 and Lindsey Hock '11.
All Thetas (collegians and alumnae) in good standing are eligible to apply. Applications for the 2011-2012 year will be online at the Foundation website in November.
Zeta Xi Senior Awards
Each year our chapter presents 4 awards to Seniors who have made a great contribution to the chapter throughout their membership.
Most Outstanding Seniors: MacKenzie Sigalos, Alison Occhailini and Erica Richey
This award acknowledges the sisters in the graduating class who have contributed the most to the chapter through service and leadership. It is not always presented to the President of the chapter, but serves as added motivation for the rest of the seniors to step-up and stay active in the chapter until graduation. At the end of the year, the entire chapter votes on who should win the award and then it is presented at Senior Dinner.
In 2008, Alison Pipitone won the Most Outstanding Senior Award to recognize her contribution to Zeta Xi through her roles as PR chair, Panhellenic Representative, Social Chair and President. Since graduating, wanting to keep her connection to Theta, Pip has become the Public Relations and Philanthropy Advisor to the Epsilon Lambda chapter of Theta and is an active member of the Central Pennsylvania Kappa Alpha Theta Alumnae Chapter.
