Our chapter organizes several fun social events each year to foster sisterhood and provide a much-needed break from work!
Kat in the Hat: For this event, each Theta is set up by one of her sisters with a date. She wears his hat to the event, and the couple meets when the boy finds the girl with his hat on.
Winter Formal: Winter Formal is a date event usually located at a venue off campus. This is a chance for everyone to get dolled up and enjoy a night out at the end of the term.
Crush Party: Have you been eyeing a cutie from your section all semester, but haven't had the courage to talk to him? Luckily, there's the Theta Crush Party! Each Theta gets to secretly "crush" three guys by anonymously inviting them to a party, where they are able to get to know each other a little better. Love is always in the air!
Kite & Key: This event is put on jointly by our chapter of Theta and another sorority on campus Kappa Kappa Gamma. This helps foster a stronger relationship between the two sororities. Historically, Kite & Key has ranged from a formal date event, to an informal game of kickball - no matter what, it's always fun to meet and hang out with other fantastic girls on campus!
Spring Formal: Spring Formal, like Winter Formal, is a date event usually held off campus. It happens just after we welcome a lovely new group of girls into our chapter, and it is a nice way for everyone to get together before the school year ends.
