Academic Achievement Policy
Each term, a college chapter shall develop a written scholarship plan. Each chapter is asked to designate its scholarship goals, objectives, and programming for the term that will support all members in achieving their highest scholarship. The scholarship director and her committee are responsible for implementing this plan with the guidance of the chapter scholarship advisor. Because of the wide variation in grading scales on individual campuses, there is no Fraternity GPA requirement. Each chapter sets its own GPA minimum standards in its bylaws, not to be lower than the campus or Panhellenic minimum GPA. Many of our chapters choose to have a higher-than-required GPA.
High scholarship is expected of each individual member and each of our college chapters, which are closely monitored by the chapter advisor. The cumulative GPA of the chapter must be above the ASA for the chapter to be considered in good standing.
