Eta Rho Installation, fall 2007 with my two amazing ELCs!
I am forever grateful for the two Educational Leadership Consultants that colonized the Eta Rho chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta at James Madison University back in fall 2007. Not only did they start something amazing out of nothing, but they forever changed the lives of each woman in that charter class. These two ELCs were Caroline Redmond (Knight) from the Delta Phi/Clemson University chapter and Mary-Scott Madigan (Ong) from the Zeta Lambda/College of Charleston chapter. These two women embodied Theta. I dreamed of having their passion, poise, determination, (and adorable wardrobe) one day.

Little did I know, four years later, I would have the honor of being an ELC following in their footsteps, and still looking to them as role models in my life. Some of the most special moments I have experienced this semester, now five years since that charter experience, are my past two visits this month which were to the Delta Phi/Clemson University and Zeta Lambda/College of Charleston chapters. On those visits I had the privilege of sharing how special it was that their chapters produced the women that inspired me and now, I was there to inspire them.

I feel like I had full circle moments this semester from those visits. I hope that one day I hear from a collegian who I met on one of my visits that tells me I inspired her to be an ELC and now she is the one visiting my Eta Rho chapter!

Have you ever experienced a "full circle Theta moment?"
