Educational Leadership Consultant Program

ELCs 2008-09
The Kappa Alpha Theta Educational Leadership Consultant (ELC) program was launched in 1959, and quickly became one of the most coveted positions in the Fraternity. ELCs are recent college graduates who serve in a very visible role for the Fraternity. Their term generally spans from July to April.
They are role models for Kappa Alpha Theta's college chapter members and alumnae volunteers. As an official representative of the Fraternity, ELCs must have thorough knowledge of Fraternity laws and procedures. They must enthusiastically support Theta's ideals and foster the Fraternity’s goals and objectives. ELCs demonstrate a rich tradition of service to Kappa Alpha Theta.

"The ELC program is the ideal way to serve the Fraternity. It allows you to embody the true spirit of Kappa Alpha Theta everyday. My ELC experience helped shape me into a woman of confidence, compassion and character. To be able to contribute to the vast history of our amazing organization is an experience that I cherish to this day. Combined with the virtues of service and sisterhood, it's an experience that I would highly recommend to the most devoted and enthusiastic Thetas."
