Scholarships
Kappa Alpha Theta Foundation's merit-based undergraduate and graduate scholarship program impacted the lives of 177 outstanding Thetas in 2007. Since the Foundation was established in 1960, more than $6 million has been awarded to Theta collegians and alumnae pursuing their educational dreams. Generous gifts from individuals, college chapters,
and alumnae chapters make the Foundation's scholarship program possible.
Applying for a Scholarship
Applicants are asked to complete an application and provide transcripts and letters of references as instructed. Committees, chaired by Thetas selected by the Foundation scholarship chair, read and score each application. Final selection is made by the Foundation scholarship committee and approval from the Foundation Board of Trustees. Foundation scholarships are merit-based, and applicants are scored in four categories: academics, Fraternity activities, campus and/or community activities, and references. Collegiate and alumnae members in good standing with the Fraternity are eligible to apply. Visit the Foundation website   for scholarship applications.
