The Laurie McGregor Connor Award of Leadership was announced last month to honor the achievements and service of Laurie McGregor Connor, Gamma deuteron/Ohio Wesleyan. The award will be given annually to a Gamma deuteron senior who demonstrates character, integrity, grace, compassion, and inclusiveness.
Laurie is a longtime Theta volunteer. After serving as an educational leadership consultant after graduation, she served in many roles, including advisory board chairman, alumnae chapter officer, alumnae district officer, Theta Foundation trustee, and director of government relations, her current position.

Anna Horowitz Alpha Epsilon/Brown
Anna received the Rita Flynn Memorial Fragrance Scholarship Award from Women in Flavor and Fragrance Commerce, Inc. Recipients of this award are enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in one of the allied disciplines of the flavor or fragrance industries.
Currently a sophomore pursuing a bachelor's degree in perfumery at Brown University, Anna's goal is to earn a master's in scent design and creation from ISIPCA, a French school for post-graduate studies in perfume, cosmetics and food flavor formulation. She interned with the research and development fragrance team at International Flavors & Fragrances.
Anna serves Alpha Epsilon Chapter as its event director.

Stephanie Lin Zeta Mu/MIT
Stephanie was awarded a Rhodes Scholarship to study next year at Oxford University, and is one of 32 American students selected. She will pursue a master of philosophy in medical anthropology. At MIT, Stephanie is majoring in biology with a minor in applied international studies; is active in the MIT Global Poverty Initiative, a student organization dedicated to fighting poverty; and is editor-in-chief of MIT's literary magazine, Rune. She served as chief education officer for Zeta Mu Chapter.
