Dr. Libby Doggett was named the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Policy and Early Learning at the U.S. Department of Education, which is the top early education spot in the department. In her role as deputy assistant secretary, Dr. Doggett works closely with the White House on promoting President Barack Obama‚Äôs plan to make high-quality, full-day preschool available to all 4-year-olds from low- to moderate-income families through a new state-federal partnership.
