
PCs, Internet, World Wide Web, and cell phones all led to significant changes in the early years of the new millennium. College
campuses were changing along with the world by integrating the new technologies.
Theta introduced its website in 1996, and by the early 2000s it had become a major resource for the Fraternity and its members.
AlcoholEdu, an education program funded by the Kappa Alpha Theta Foundation, was introduced to collegians in response to a
growing concern to binge drinking on college campuses. September 11 and Hurricane Katrina would go down as two historical
events that shaped many people's lives.


New chapters were established at Loyola Marymount, Albertson College, University of Central Florida, University of San Diego,
John Carroll University, Santa Clara University, Occidental College, Lake Forest College, Quinnipiac University, University of
North Florida, Case Western Reserve University, and James Madison University.
