UNC-Charlotte

Kappa Alpha Theta is delighted to establish Theta Omicron Chapter on the University of North Carolina - Charlotte (UNCC) campus in the fall of 2017! On this page, you can learn more about recruitment for the charter class and the ways you can assist.


Recruitment

Following Bid Day for the Panhellenic groups, Kappa Alpha Theta will start the recruitment and PR process. The goal is to let potential new members (PNMs) know we are seeking women who demonstrate leadership potential from all academic areas and all class years (freshmen through seniors). After three weeks of recruitment and PR, Theta will host a recruitment kick-off event and hold individual membership meetings with each PNM.


How You Can Help

Complete a Letter of Reference: If you know of a young woman attending UNCC who would make an outstanding charter class member, you may submit a letter of reference by using the Letter of Reference and Legacy Introduction (Online)  or by mailing the Letter of Reference and Legacy Introduction (PDF)  to Kappa Alpha Theta, 8740 Founders Rd., Indianapolis, IN 46268, attn: Margaret Burke.

Serve on the Advisory Board: One of the ways for local alumnae to support Theta Omicron Chapter is to serve on the advisory board. If you are interested in serving Theta in this meaningful and extremely rewarding way, please complete the Volunteer Interest Indicator (Online)  to let the Fraternity know your skills and preferences.

Join an Alumnae Chapter: Besides getting involved at Theta Omicron, you can join the Charlotte Area Alumnae Chapter and participate in community volunteer involvement, networking opportunities, philanthropic projects, social events, and more with other Thetas in the Charlotte area.


Housing

Housing will be provided by the university at a later date.
