L-R: Melanie Rankin, Eta Phi/Belmont, and I in Burano, Italy.
I met several Thetas while studying in Italy this summer.
In May, Melanie and I participated in a study abroad program in Italy through Belmont University. We were able to experience ten different cities and learn about the traditions and culture across the country. While we were in Florence, we met a few other women who introduced themselves because they saw the letters on our shirts – they were also Thetas. It was a great reminder of the bonds that being in Theta creates and the strong sisterhood that spreads throughout the world. It brought us together in a completely different country thousands of miles away from home.
Kimberly Petroll, Eta Phi/Belmont, serves her chapter as chief administrative officer.
