Chapter Beginnings
Beta Chi Chapter, installed in 1931 at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, became the Fraternity’s third Canadian chapter. Three Edmonton alumnae, who had worked diligently to establish the chapter, were invited to conduct the installation.
Notable Thetas
From the very beginning, Theta alumnae have distinguished themselves in their careers and their volunteer endeavors. In fact, some are so well-known that they’re household names, and many have the distinction of being the first women in their professional fields.
