The Future of Kappa Alpha Theta

In 2020, Kappa Alpha Theta celebrated 150 years of sisterhood. We celebrated in all the ways a global pandemic would allow: limited-edition jewelry, a short film about our founding, and even a special coffee table book. We would love to know how you celebrated, no matter how small or socially-distanced, via the Share Your Theta Story web page.

One thing's for sure: While decades have passed since 1870, Theta love and support remains stronger than ever. Here's to the next 150 years of Kappa Alpha Theta.

The Kite

The story of Theta's founding has been an inspiration to Thetas everywhere — how four remarkable young women went against the grain to do something that had never been done before. We rewind the clock to take you back to that fateful moment.

Using a decade-by-decade structure, the 96-page hardcover book includes badge and jewelry photographs, historical vignettes, chapter establishments, quotes, and much, much more.
