Chapter Beginnings
In 2000, the University of Central Florida was the fastest growing university in the state of Florida. Kappa Alpha Theta joined the momentum and established Eta Theta Chapter on the Orlando campus. Initiation ceremonies were planned to coordinate with the Florida vs. Florida State football game, making it a memorable installation weekend.

From the very beginning, Theta alumnae have distinguished themselves in their careers and their volunteer endeavors. In fact, some are so well-known that they’re household names, and many have the distinction of being the first women in their professional fields.
