Chapter Beginnings
UC Santa Cruz was established in 1965 as part of the state-wide University of California network and is known for its residential college system. Theta Xi Chapter, established in 2017, became the 20th active Theta chapter in California.
Notable Thetas
From the very beginning, Theta alumnae have distinguished themselves in their careers and their volunteer endeavors. In fact, some are so well-known that they’re household names, and many have the distinction of being the first women in their professional fields.
