Chapter Beginnings
In January 1996, an extension team successfully introduced Kappa Alpha Theta to a local sorority, Beta Chi, at the University of Texas at Dallas. As a result, Zeta Upsilon Chapter was installed, becoming the second Panhellenic group at UT Dallas and the seventh Theta chapter in Texas.
Notable Thetas
From the very beginning, Theta alumnae have distinguished themselves in their careers and their volunteer endeavors. In fact, some are so well-known that they’re household names, and many have the distinction of being the first women in their professional fields.
