True Promise, Kappa Alpha Theta's
Visual Identity

True Promise represents both the promise each Theta makes at initiation to honor and cherish her membership and friendships in Kappa Alpha Theta, as well as the tremendous potential within each Theta for social, intellectual, and moral growth. It represents the great possibilities for cultured womanhood made possible by the Fraternity.

Here you can find the following resources:
  • The "True Promise" video that was inspired in part by the Fraternity's tagline, "Ideals of Gold," and shown for the first time at Grand Convention 2008
  • Text of the speech given by former Fraternity President Karen Ledbetter at Grand Convention 2008
  • A PowerPoint explaining the purpose and proper usage of the brand identity
  • Links to downloadable clip art and the Visual Standards Guide, both of which are available for collegian and alumnae chapters

Our Fraternity brand expresses who we are and why we're Thetas. Read more about our new brand in the Autumn 2008 issue  of The Kappa Alpha Theta Magazine. Also find out ways your chapter can use the visual identity in chapter communication pieces.

Most importantly, the brand is only as strong as our membership. The vows we take are the links that make our Fraternity strong and vibrant. Our new brand identity will help us convey that message.
