ELC Blog

As many of you know, Theta Foundation is wrapping up the Give to Lead, Give to Learn Campaign before the end of the year, and it's the season to reflect on all we are thankful for! At the top of the ELCs' list is this wonderful Campaign.

The educational leadership consultant program wouldn't be possible without the amazing staff and volunteers at Theta Foundation. These leading women work day after day to ensure the future of a program that is held close to all current and former ELCs' hearts. So the time has come for a formal "thank you" from the current ELCs.

ELC Sarah McGregor says, "Being an ELC has allowed me to connect and create relationships with fellow Theta members, current and alumnae, all over North America. I am incredibly thankful for the Give to Lead, Give to Learn Campaign for allowing me to be a part of such an incredible program and sisterhood."

ELC Savannah Vogel shares, "I am thankful to be an ELC because this job has shown me the impact our organization makes on lives of women around the world. Although each member of Kappa Alpha Theta has a unique experience, she is bonded to an organization that promotes personal and professional growth in her college and alumnae experience. To see and hear about the growth Theta provides our members every day is a remarkable opportunity and I am forever grateful for everyone who has contributed to the Give to Lead, Give to Learn Campaign."

Personally, I will always credit the ELC program for the person I am today. This program has challenged me by constantly putting me in new situations. This program has supported me by leading me to my best friends and mentors. Finally, this program has allowed me to help develop the future leaders of our generation.

I am proud to say the current educational leadership consultants are all donors to the Give to Lead, Give to Learn Campaign and are truly thankful to those who have joined us in our support. This Thanksgiving, consider showing your gratitude for an ELC by making a donation in her honor. After all, it is something we are all so thankful for!

You have the opportunity to ensure our young women and our chapters receive strong, informed peer-level guidance.
