November 2017 Archives News

It's November, the weather has turned chilly in Indianapolis, and I don’t know about you, but my thoughts have turned to sweaters, hot chocolate, and a good book or any interesting reading. May I recommend the heritage website for your reading list?

First take a look at the blog post from last summer’s intern, Elle Benak, on The Kappa Alpha Theta Magazine’s "Chapter Letters." A regular feature from the first issue of the magazine in 1885 through the early 1970s, these required "letters" detailed each chapter's activities for the quarter. Along with the news of their respective campuses, the letters give a strong sense of the fun and sisterhood present in each chapter.

Then explore the Notable Thetas section. This area recognizes Thetas who are significant on a national or international level in a variety of fields, and several individuals have recently been added. Recommendations are always welcome!

Stay warm. I'm off to find my favorite sweater, get a cup of hot chocolate and catch up with my reading.
