Being welcomed during a visit to headquarters.
While I treasure my college experience and made lifelong friends that I am only too proud to call sisters, my Theta experience really took flight as an alumna.
While in college, we all hear, recite, and believe in “Theta for a Lifetime.” While I treasure my college experience and made lifelong friends that I am only too proud to call sisters, my Theta experience really took flight as an alumna. Theta for a Lifetime. That saying anchored me to Theta for 15 years until the wonderful day when I had the opportunity to reinvest myself in Theta—first as a co-founder of the Westchester Alumnae Chapter, and its first president, then as an alumnae district officer and a trustee to our great Theta Foundation.

This is why I am Theta. The fact that you can be swept away from Theta by that crazy tide we call life, only to re-discover the open arms of her loyalty, promise, and empowerment 15 years later. I am Theta because there is beauty and strength in the bond that connects us—whether it’s reconnecting with my pledge mom or sister or making a new friend on an airport layover sparked by the fact that her carry-on is a Theta bag.
Foundation trustees with speaker and fundraising guru Penelope Burk.
I am Theta because through her philanthropic spirit, I can help my Theta sisters make the world a better place through Theta Foundation grants and scholarships. I am Theta because along with my fellow Trustees and more than 200,000 Thetas across the world, I can work for the future of Theta Foundation. I can work to ensure that generations of Theta women to come have even more opportunities and resources to affect change in the world for a multitude of causes close to their hearts and ours.
I am Theta…Theta is me. Theta IS for a lifetime.
