Alpha Chapter Update

Over the past several months, Kappa Alpha Theta has shared updates regarding a serious risk management issue at the Alpha Chapter at DePauw University. During separate investigations into an incident involving members of Alpha last November, Theta leadership and DePauw administration worked cooperatively to achieve a mutually agreed-upon sanction. We are pleased to tell you that Alpha Chapter members’ commitment to organizational values and priorities contributed to the resolution of the investigation.

The interim suspension placed on the chapter by DePauw University has been lifted. Additionally, Kappa Alpha Theta has removed the chapter from charter review status. They are now on probationary status. Specifics of the university’s sanction and Theta’s probation are confidential to the chapter, DePauw, and Kappa Alpha Theta, as is the membership status of individuals.
