Kappa Alpha Theta Announces Closure of Stetson University Chapter

Kappa Alpha Theta Grand Council voted to withdraw the charter of Epsilon Theta Chapter at Stetson University effective immediately. The chapter has continued to experience challenges related to membership experience, chapter total, and overall operational management.

“The closing of a chapter is a painful experience for everyone at Kappa Alpha Theta, but it is especially difficult for all members of Epsilon Theta Chapter,” said Associate Executive Director Katharine Murphy. “During its original tenure from 1981-1993, and again since its reestablishment in 2016, Epsilon Theta Chapter has contributed quality members who continue to be a strength to Theta.”
