Lisa Sparks was named the inaugural dean of Chapman University’s School of Communications, which launches this month. She was unanimously selected by her faculty peers. Classes at the new school will begin this fall.

Since joining Chapman ten years ago, Lisa has served as an endowed professor in behavioral sciences, chairwoman of the Communication Studies department, and founding director of the Health and Strategic Communications program.

Lisa served Eta Sigma/Chapman as its first advisory board chairman when the chapter was established in 2008.
