Elaine was recently named executive vice president and head of programming for A&E Network. Prior to her promotion, she was the senior vice president of development and programming for The History Channel.

Between 2005-2013, she worked at A&E as senior vice president of non-fiction and alternative programming, and oversaw the development of hit shows such as Duck Dynasty, Storage Wars, and Shipping Wars. At History, she reviewed all show content before it aired, and oversaw the development of new series and scripted dramas, namely The Curse Of Oak Island, Gangland Undercover, Texas Rising, and Sons of Liberty.
