A large group of alumnae from Delta Omicron/Alabama, as well as other chapters, joined Fraternity President Mandy Wushinske, Fraternity Housing Corporation President Mary Jane Beach, Theta Foundation President Vicki McCluggage, the Fraternity Housing Corporation (FHC) board of directors and Grand Council members on Sunday, July 28, for an official ribbon-cutting ceremony to open the Delta Omicron house.
FHC is so happy that the local facility corporation had a vision for a new house for Delta Omicron. They were instrumental in starting this process and for getting FHC involved so we could help make the project a reality. We also want to extend a special thanks to all the donors, as well as the capital campaign committee! We are so excited that many of you have played a major role in raising over $430,000!
Karen Ledbetter, FHC interior design committee member, pulled together all the details and truly made the house shine. The badge inlay in the foyer was among many details that members can’t stop talking about! The Delta Omicron chapter is thriving, and we know this new space will be just what the chapter needs to make more memories together.
