NPC Updates for Spring 2023 Recruitment and More

In April 2022, the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) passed an update to the values-based recruitment policy that goes into effect for the spring 2023 recruitment season. The policy update added that all college Panhellenics and their member chapters must:

• Eliminate the required purchasing of recruitment event attire for chapter members and
• Eliminate extraneous and costly performances. This includes, but is not limited to, recruitment skits and door stacks.

In October 2022, legislation was passed to update the policies below.

• Campus Presentation Policy: Clarifies that recording and sharing of campus presentations during an extension process is prohibited.
• Panhellenic Leadership Policy: This policy was updated to be clearer about expectations for all Panhellenic leaders, including recruitment counselors. They must be in good standing with their organization and enrolled at the institution where the chapter is located.

Several other policies were removed on the basis that they were redundant.
