Kappa Alpha Theta volunteers and staff have been working hard to create a Grand Convention program that will educate, celebrate, and inspire you! We are so excited to continue the year-long celebration of our sesquicentennial, and we hope every participant leaves this event feeling the precious bonds of our sisterhood more acutely than ever … feeling even more deeply connected than ever.

Registration is now live for non-delegates, and there are many attendance options available! Grand Convention will take place July 8 – 12 at the JW Marriott Indianapolis, just a few miles away from Theta headquarters and an hour east of Greencastle, where it all began in 1870.

Here are a few highlights of what promises to be the grandest Grand Convention of all.

  • We can’t wait to hear our speakers, and we know you’ll want to hear them, too: health and human rights activist Barbara Bush, television journalist Kate Snow, author Kelly Corrigan, and Paralympic athlete Simona Campbell. These phenomenal Thetas are accomplished in their own right and make a difference in the world every day.
  • We’ll remember our founders, our origin story, and our 15 decades of women supporting women with interactive displays and activities.
  • We’ll offer opportunities for networking, idea-sharing, and making connections, as well as programming on leadership, alumnae engagement, and recruitment.
  • We’ll launch Theta’s new strategic plan and empower every single participant to be part of Theta’s future success.
