Ranking consistently among the top 40 private universities in the United States, Case Western Reserve
University offers about 75 majors and minors in four colleges: arts and sciences, engineering,
management, and nursing. In addition, Case is among the top 20 private universities for federal
research funding, and counts 14 Nobel laureates among its past and present faculty, including the
first American scientist to ever receive the Nobel Prize.
Case is located in the University Circle area of Cleveland, which comprises parks, galleries,
restaurants, and cultural attractions including the Cleveland Museum of Natural History, Cleveland
Museum of Art, and Cleveland Orchestra.
In the fall of 2007, Kappa Alpha Theta joined Alpha Chi Omega, Alpha Phi, Delta Gamma, Phi Mu, Phi
Sigma Rho, and Sigma Psi at Case.
