Grand Convention is the legislative body of the Fraternity. In other words, Grand Convention governs Theta. Yet Grand Convention is also an event, a gathering of one delegate from each alumnae and college chapter as well as Fraternity officers. Held during the summer of every even-numbered year, Grand Convention elects Theta's Grand Council, establishes laws and policies, determines qualifications for membership, and more. Information about specific Conventions is published in The Kappa Alpha Theta Magazine beginning the previous summer. Additional information and online registration is available on this website the February prior to Convention.
