Our thoughts are with our sisters affected by Hurricane Harvey, particularly those in Houston who have been forced to evacuate due to heavy flooding and rain. We are keeping in close touch with our college and alumnae chapters in Harvey's path to confirm members' safety and assist however we can. We will post any updates on the Kappa Alpha Theta Facebook page. We appreciate you keeping us informed as you hear any news.

Experts are calling Harvey a "once-in-a-million-years" storm, and many sisters' homes have sustained serious flooding damage. If you would like to help, consider making a donation to Theta's Friendship Fund, which was created to help Theta sisters experiencing severe financial distress, catastrophic illness, natural disaster, and urgent family crisis.

Kappa Alpha Theta Foundation announces the college and alumnae members who received grants and scholarships during the 2016-2017 fiscal year. Theta Foundation is thrilled to welcome these leading women into their long-standing tradition of supporting Thetas in their educational endeavors.

Last fiscal year, Theta Foundation awarded grants totaling more than $36,000 to 41 collegian and alumnae members, one college chapter, and one alumnae chapter to participate in non-degree educational, leadership, and service-learning programs. These experiential learning opportunities help set Theta women apart as leaders on their campuses and in their communities.

Theta Foundation is also excited to announce that $743,200 in scholarship support was awarded to 332 collegians and alumnae for the 2017-2018 academic year. Established by individuals and college and alumnae chapters with a strong belief in the potential of Theta women, these scholarships stand as a testament to the support the bonds of sisterhood can provide throughout life's endeavors.

Kappa Alpha Theta Foundation proudly awards these grants and scholarships to Thetas in pursuit of highest scholarship and the widest influence for good, and congratulates these leading women on their incredible accomplishments.
