Kappa Alpha Theta Foundation announces the college and alumnae members who received grants and scholarships during the 2016-2017 fiscal year. Theta Foundation is thrilled to welcome these leading women into their long-standing tradition of supporting Thetas in their educational endeavors.
Last fiscal year, Theta Foundation awarded grants totaling more than $36,000 to 41 collegian and alumnae members, one college chapter, and one alumnae chapter to participate in non-degree educational, leadership, and service-learning programs. These experiential learning opportunities help set Theta women apart as leaders on their campuses and in their communities.
Theta Foundation is also excited to announce that $743,200 in scholarship support was awarded to 332 collegians and alumnae for the 2017-2018 academic year. Established by individuals and college and alumnae chapters with a strong belief in the potential of Theta women, these scholarships stand as a testament to the support the bonds of sisterhood can provide throughout life's endeavors.
